What was Rainbow Smart Event?
Rainbow Smart Event was developed by Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to let organisations provide a mobile app to guests for their workshops and exhibitions. Organisations could create and manage event content from a single platform: managing registrations, sending invitations, scheduling sessions, managing attendees, chat, push notifications and much more. The platform also provided advanced features such as people tracking and way-finding in the exhibition centre.
Rainbow Smart Event was designed to be user-friendly and easy to use, with a simple and intuitive interface allowing users to manage physical or virtual events with ease. It offered a range of customisation options for event settings such as the registration form, email invitations and session details.
Overall, Rainbow Smart Event was a powerful tool for organisations wanting to host events and reach a wider audience, providing a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for measuring success and enhancing engagement and collaboration among attendees.

My scope of work
I oversaw all aspects of the product, including the administration platform and its many features. The platform offered comprehensive customisation capabilities, letting users tailor each element of the application to their specific needs. It also facilitated the management of multiple apps for resellers with multiple layers of administration, and gave administrators access to detailed analytics. Separately, I managed the app feature set used by attendees, speakers and event staff.
